Photos: The View of Everlast

Great and pounding in its way
Stirring the roaming cosmic sea
Oceans rise, planets igneous fall
As chaos and beauty in fierce rage

Adventure: Colma

Going to Colma was a dream come true, but I have to go back. The Hills of Eternity cemetery wasn't open when I was there. Nonetheless I'm still delighted that I was able to go and it's one of my dearest memories of my time in California.

Outfit: We Were Living Inside

We were living inside but the winter followed me
Formed a pattern from a single line
Now I'm repeating everything

Hello from Finland! I hope you're all doing well. Here's a pre-Finland outfit.

Sweater: Romwe
Dress: H&M
Shoes, Sunglasses: Goodwill
Bag: Melville House

I tried making my shortest sweater work by...pairing it with my shortest dress?? Whoops. I felt so self-conscious all day! Good thing I put on black tights. I was originally wearing nude stockings. That would have been much too uncomfortable.
I really want to love this sweater, but it's just so short and awkward. Oh, maybe someday.

While I was out I found a box of Boygirlparty pins at a little kids store. I was so excited! If you've never heard of it, you should definitely check it out. Boygirlparty has super cute stationery, pins, shirts, prints and more. You've possibly seen some of the shirts and bags on Modcloth. I have a note pad from Boygirlparty and have gotten some of their recipe cards and pins for friends. I just love their stuff and I was so surprised to see those familiar adorable animals in Vermont.
I also found this Kane mask... Why didn't I buy it?!

 Thanks for reading!

Off to Finland

Hello friends. Soon I'll be taking off for a ten day trip to Finland! I've queued a few posts for when I'm gone, but hopefully I'll have lots of posts (or just one very big one) when I get back.

Bye for now!

Descended from Dog-Fighting Ancestors

Last week I watched two of the cutest dogs I've ever met. Say hello to Huck and Alex the Staffordshire bull terriers!

Alex wants to go to bed / Alex wants to eat my apple.

Huck is scared because I'm not petting him / Alex is desperate because I'm not petting her.

"You're still not petting me? Will you pet me now??"

They're so lazy and cuddly and adorable!

Oh I'm just smitten with this little thing.

We played a lot of fetch.
 Oh Hucky my love.

Spot the Huckles.

I just adore these dogs. I'm totally sold on staffies. I need one!

Huck and Alex are so well behaved. They may be the easiest dogs I've watched, although they do require a lot of play time. They may be lazy when they're in bed, but once they get up all they want to do is play, especially Alex. It's exhausting.

I'm actually watching them now. Their parents travel a lot so I think I'm going to be watching them frequently. Not that I mind! Not only are the pups sweet, but look at that gorgeous house I get to stay in. No complaints here.
